Belinda J Wagner PhD

Director scientific affairs

Belinda Wagner has extensive experience in making strategic connections between knowledge, technologies, and capabilities, and she understands the regulatory constraints that pharmaceuticals face in moving from the preclinical to the clinical and then approval phase.

Belinda was awarded her doctorate from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cellular and Developmental Biology with a focus on Molecular Biology. She then held faculty and management positions in academia and corporate America, including building a reporting division for American Express. She has managed technology transfer projects from academic research to industrial R&D, and Phase I/II clinical trials, developed and compiled regulatory approval documentation, oversaw development of SOPs, and investigated licensing and acquisition opportunities. Her training also includes product orientation, regulatory compliance and intellectual property protection. Furthermore, Belinda is GLP and GMP certified. She has written articles for peer-reviewed journals and lay publications, focusing on such topics as regenerative medicine, molecular biology, wound healing, genetics, social impacts and ethics of emerging medical technologies, cardiovascular disease and oncology.

Belinda’s role at MANNA ensures that the agency has the capacity to take on even the most technical topics and projects with consummate skill and accuracy. Her key competence is out-of-box thinking and to provide clients with a second opinion on data quality and publication strategy.
